One of the product lines which I'm responsible for here at CPS is our line of flow meters from Vogtlin. They are a high-end, Swiss-made range of thermal mass and variable area flow meters and controllers for gas and liquids.

Recently I have been talking to the people in the Air Force oxygen instrumentation workshop wanting to replace their range of seven old ball-in-glass flow meters (Variable area flowmeters)  with seven new, calibrated units. Read More

Every now and again we get asked to make something a little different. This time it was to invent and manufacture an altitude test rig. Nothing to difficult there, just this one had to be quite big and have no leaks so to maintain a set pressure – now it becomes interesting. Read More

Via the Ralston Way.

We at CPS hooked up with Ralston a few years back, mainly peddling their range of hand held pressure calibration pumps and the portable pressure source, the Nitropak. But what they also did was a fantastic range of calibration fittings. These are connection fittings that connect your device under test to your pressure source/reference. It's like the wiring in your car, these fittings are what connects and allows everything to work together in harmony. Read More
