Chris
Chris is our specialist. His technical knowledge in pressure systems is incredible. This expertise comes not only from 30+ years of owning a company in the industry but, from as soon as he could walk, he was tagging along behind his father whom was a pioneer in scuba diving in New Zealand and had his own pressure related business. But it does not stop there, Chris is also very knowledgable if the fields of temperature and flow.
Chris spends most of his time at work in the lab (as he likes the climate in there) and does most of the high-end calibration. He provides our sales team with technical support when they come across a 'curly' one. Chris also spends time developing the direction of CPS and working on special projects.
When Chris is not at CPS (which is often) he is either rallying, kayaking or traveling. Chris also likes skiing, diving and mountain biking.
Rotary is another part of Chris's life. He dedicates a lot of time and effort to his Rotary Club (Ellerslie Sunrise) and has been awarded a Paul Harris Fellow award in recognition of his efforts.
Kirsty
Kirsty General Manager
Kirsty splits her time between managing the business and sales. She has worked in every role in the company and knows CPS inside out. After 20-odd years with us Kirsty has developed an excellent understanding of the business and in-depth knowledge of our industry. Kirsty enjoys problem solving for clients and likes getting on the tools to make or modify equipment to clients needs. We even call on her superb stainless welding skills on occasion.
As a manager Kirsty's aim is to have a tight knit staff that work well together and that have their skills compliment each other. She believes this is what the CPS family is all about and is what sets CPS apart from its competitors.
Kirsty is a water person, so anything in or around water is what she enjoys doing outside work time (swimming, sailing, fishing, diving, snorkeling). Family holidays are usually spent on the boat or on a Pacific island, which luckily are Gary preference's as well. Family time is very important to Kirsty and weekends are dedicated to maximise this.
Growing up on a farm meant that Kirsty had many pets as a child, and it is now her aim to ensure Logan has all the pets a boy could want. Already the family has two cats, a dog, various breeds of chickens, a kunikuni pig and alpacas.
Gary
Gary enjoys working for a New Zealand owned and operated business where he feels he can supply customers with top-quality products tailored to their specific needs. Before CPS Gary has worked in sales and management roles in a variety of industries, from electrical to yacht charter, and with him brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on engineering experience.
Sailing is Gary's passion and as a professional skipper has sailed in excess of 30,000 miles round the Pacific ocean and beyond. His favourite delivery being a 63 foot luxury catamaran from the Seychelles to New Zealand crossing three oceans and stopping off at places like St Helena Island, The Galapagos Islands, Tonga and Trinidad.
He also enjoys fishing, anything else to do with boats, and spending time with his family.

Maria
Maria sits behind the scenes at CPS Auckland but has two important roles in the company; she maintains our website, and does the administrative role for our busy Auckland Labs. There is a constant need to continually update our awesome website - updating product details, ensuring prices and codes are correct and deciphering Chris's e-mails about what to do next. Maria also has a busy home life with her partner, two grown daughters, two cats and a dog. At every opportunity Maria loves to get away with her partner on their bus exploring the countryside.

Logan
Logan Staff in-training
Kirsty and Gary's son, Logan is now at school, but loves to come in to CPS during his holidays and "helping out". He finds helping Uncle Chris in the lab is more fun than helping help Mum or Dad, and is a whizz on the comparator. Away from 'work' Logan enjoys swimming, fishing, sailing, and spending time with his pets.
